He starred in the film Weaving Reconciliation: Our Way, and was awarded the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award. Despite his physical limitations â he uses a wheelchair â and his difficult experiences within the education system, he is devoted to his creative work.
He participated in the filming of a documentary and narrated his poems for an exhibition. His poems reflect the feelings of someone who is physically dependent on the help and support of others. His message is clear: anyone can be a hero; you just need to help and listen to others.
