You May Dream in HOT

The exhibition is now open!
After a successful opening featuring artists from British Columbia, Canada, inspired by the works of Karl Friedrich May and present-day stories from the Ore Mountains, Hohenstein-Ernstthal, Hohndorf, Chomutov, and Chemnitz, the show continues until 14 December.

Artists from Vancouver, the Okanagan and Shuswap regions explore places they have never personally visited – much like Karl May once did – working with themes of distance, imagination, and storytelling, under the mottos You May Dream and May It Happen.

🎨 During the opening we welcomed three Canadian artists in person:
Destanne Norris, Krystyna Laycraft, and AJ Jaeger, who visited her mother’s birthplace for the very first time.

🗓️ The exhibition remains open at  Dresdner Strasse 26, Hohenstein-Ernstthal until 14 December:

  • Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00–6:00 PM

  • or by appointment via to@mymay.art
