Workshop Dream in HOT – Theatrical Communication with the Exhibition

Join the Czech-German theatre workshop led by Pavel Skála and Barbora Greéová.
In the exhibition space at Dresdner Strasse 26, Hohenstein-Ernstthal, participants will create a unique theatre performance inspired by the works of Canadian artists from British Columbia.

You will explore basic acting techniques and principles of storytelling, respond creatively to visual art, and co-create a performance connecting Karl May’s imagination with your own stories.

The exhibition, organized by Silberbüchse e. V., presents contemporary artworks reflecting the Ore Mountains and the creative legacy of Karl May.

Facilitators:

Pavel Skála – actor, pedagogue, and director, graduate of DAMU Prague. Founder and artistic director of the PřeMostění festival, which connects amateur and professional ensembles from the Czech Republic and Germany. His students and the NaNečisto ensemble have received numerous awards, most recently for The Concrete Fairy Tale performed at Prague’s Minor Theatre. Recipient of the Pavel Dostál Award for his contribution to Czech theatre.

Barbora Greéová – theatre maker, educator, and co-founder of the festivals NaNečisto and PřeMostění. She works with children and youth, focuses on improvisation and community theatre, and brings together different generations and cultural backgrounds through creative collaboration.
