Guided Tours of the Exhibition You May Dream in Chomutov

The exhibition You May Dream in Chomutov presents contemporary Canadian art inspired by Karl May and the Ore Mountains. Artists from British Columbia created works imagining this Central European region – a place they have never visited, interpreted through their own creative perspective.

During a one-hour guided tour, you will learn about the individual artworks and artists, the stories behind them, and the role Indigenous art plays in Canada today – including how it connects, perhaps unexpectedly, to the figure of Winnetou.
