You May Parade in HOT

🎭 Join the theatre parade and attend the opening of the exhibition You May Dream in HOT

On Saturday, 20 September at 4:00 PM, a theatre parade will begin in front of Treffenpunkt Magnet and pass through the centre of Hohenstein-Ernstthal. Led by a large puppet, performers – and anyone who wishes to join – will walk through the town and arrive at Dresdner Straße 26, where the opening of the exhibition You May Dream in HOT will begin at 5:00 PM.

📣 Everyone is welcome to take part.
Join the parade from the start or along the route, wear a costume or a mask, or simply come to watch.

🎨 The parade, with small theatrical scenes along the way, is the result of a five-day workshop titled May Be Hero in HOT. Participants include students from the Klement Slavický Art School in Kadaň, as well as residents of Hohenstein-Ernstthal and nearby towns. The inspiration comes from the work and stories of over twenty Canadian artists who have explored themes related to the Ore Mountains, Chomutov, Chemnitz, and Hohenstein-Ernstthal.

📍The exhibition You May Dream in HOT will open right after the parade at Dresdner Straße 26.
It will remain open until 14 December, every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, or by appointment at to@mymay.art.
