May Be Hero in HOT
Join the Czech-German Theatre Workshop!
Led by artist Tereza Zemanová and theatre educator Lucie Tallerová, this five-day creative lab brings together participants from the Czech and German Ore Mountains. The workshop focuses on theatrical and visual expression, inspired by the works of Karl May and by over twenty Canadian artists who have reimagined stories of the region this year.
Key participants include students of the Klement Slavický Art School in Kadaň, who will collaborate with people of all ages from Karl May’s birthplace – today’s Hohenstein-Ernstthal.
📣 And you can join in!
The workshop is open to the public – you are welcome to take part:
-
for the full-day programme (starting in the morning),
-
or Wednesday to Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the “Treffenpunkt” in the Magnet.
Together we’ll create scenic moments, visual elements and narratives that will become part of the exhibition opening You May Dream in HOT – transforming Hohenstein-Ernstthal into a space of shared imagination.
🎭🖌️ Come, create, get inspired and take part in this Czech-German-Canadian cultural dialogue!
Special thanks to the Textile and Racing Museum for their support and for providing the space – and to all donors who make this project possible.
